yupz, first day of Chinese New Year.

A quick post before heading for the gambling and movie session with my royal family.

As usual, our reunion dinner = steamboat, yawns. gettting bored, so we suggest next year we can have something else... well, a tradition.

Another tradition, 4 of us have to kiss my dad when the clock strike at 12am, to get our first angpao! its kinda funny but..... we have to do it.. since young. HAHA.

Had an early dinner with the family, because mummy got to send my little sis for performance at night.


Dad likes to play oldies Chinese New Year songs during CNY, and it's like... non-stop playing. HAHAHA. Im pro at chinese new year songs.

Yupz, seems like everyone is loving the nail patch, I will not reply email one by one coz... blog it out once is better right? haha.

Sephora nail patch is SGD 17 with 16 color strips (refer to previous post).

Watson is selling nail patch too!! SGD 9.95 (original sgd 12.95), comes with 20 color strips, one cloth remover, one cuticle stick AND one small buffer. LIKE DAMN CHEAP WITH LOTS OF STUFF INSIDE ONE PACKET comparing to Sephora.

but Watson's do not have bling and shiny sticker like silver and gold (the one i bought from Sephora), mainly red, purple and light pink. Bought it today and try.... btw, the Sephora's silver bling nail patch is damn hard to remove with nail polish remover. LOL. took me about 15 mins to remove 10 finger nails? im using Sally Hansen remover btw.

BUT watson's nail patch quality not as good as Sephora. :) its already cheap, so do not expect much. :)

ANYWAY, end product is here, using nail patch from Watson. heh heh.

It was Sephora Grand Opening last Friday, Sephora closed from 5 to 7pm (?? cant remember the timing, lol) only invited guests able to get in there.

lots of celebrities, media were there, editor from various magazine, also their France ambassadors were there too, and it was covered by Channel News Asia.

Yes, Sephora's infamous nail patch. It was the busiest counter on that day, its quite lasting, did it on Friday, and it is still sticking nicely on my nails though i was working at roadshow the next 2 days! haha. its very easy to stick on and peel.

spent alot, especially ting, she spent like $300 plus for half day shopping. LOL. mine was only about $200. :)

and yes, i bought another Maxi dress! hiakhiakhiak. quick date me out to chill at night! my maxi dress doesnt suit clubbing...

we went to far east plaza for waffle! we used to go on Tuesday during poly days, for half price waffle. super nice!

Went to City Square with bf, dawn and jason last Saturday, quite a fruitful trip for me. HAHA.

I bought a pair of lovely heels that I always wanted at RM 86.90. cheap cheap and im loving it!!! too lazy to take a picture of it. so wait till CNY then. hahahaha.

oh, did i mention i went to ikea the other day, wanted to get a shoes cabinet, but end up i bought another wardrobe. LOL. im aiming on the white shoes cabinet already, $200. I think can put all my heels in. hope to get it after CNY! the current one is full, and my shoes are like lying abit here and there now, damn disgusting.

back to city square, we watched IP MAN too. I like Mr. Ip Man! he is too cool and man. :)

Christmas get away - Hatyai, Songkhla

Im finally here to talk about the overdue Christmas trip, almost one month ago. haha.

We went to Hatyai, Songkhla for a short trip during Christmas few weeks ago last year. Had so much fun! eating and buying non-stop.

We reached Hatyai early in the morning about 8am, went to Songkla for temple visits, had seafood dinner somewhere there, after that we back to Hatyai, had our super cheap Swensen ice-cream (at least once a day), continue with full body massage, proceed to our next stop for bird nest dessert. Not to forget their delicious mango glutinous rice (though I only like mango without rice), and the butter/kaya/tomyam bread!!

I miss the porridge in one of the street restaurant, and super cheap dimsum breakfast!

Now, im looking forward to our March 09 's trip.

wasnt feeling well last night, terrible in fact, feeling giddy and vomit non-stop throughout the whole night, kind of no strength to walk but i managed to drag myself out of the house and went to see doctor during midnight, got a jab on my butt, its stomach flu again. i need to go for check up real soon, a scan maybe. keep on coughing non-stop also. whats wrong with me?!

damn! I forget the name of this temple. It's like the building is completely build out of... beer bottles. super nice! about 45 mins car ride from Hatyai city.

Maxi Dress Fever

Alright, since so many of u asking about the dress..

I bought my maxi dress at Bugis Village level 2. It's a shop at the corner, the shop owner is an auntie in her 40-50s, shd be quite easy to find coz the sales assistant there normally is in their 20s only?

I cant remember the shop name, but the shop is selling slipper and heels (outside the shop), it's not those small shop. The dress is only one piece per design, it's sgd 49.90 per dress, but I think u can bargain abit. haha.

I was working at Sephora - Ngee Ann City over the weekend. First store in Singapore, the next one will be at Ion Orchard. I love Sephora man!

Sephora is the leading retail beauty chain in Europe, from France, with LOTS of different brand (sadly, Singapore's outlet only have a few)

I love Bare Minerals powder eyeshadow, the colors are so gorgeous! and I want to try their powder foundation.

I love Too faced's eyeshadow. yeah, famous with the colors, plenty of them. Pop Beauty's as well.
Too bad Urban Decay is not available in this store, hopefully will be available at Ion. I want their eyeshadow and eyeshadow primer potion!!

Not to forget Philosophy's powder foundation and their in house brand - Sephora. hiakhiakhiak.

I just want ALL OF THEM PLEASE. yeah, slap me with all the skin care and make up.

So I was saying... working at Sephora, and.. shopping at Sephora. Bought their Flashy eyeliner under the Sephora brand 2 weeks ago when I was working there.

I bought some other make up last week, powder foundation, a gorgeous purple color nail polish, and gold shiny blink blink nail patch, gonna use it for chinese new year!

we met up at Essential Brew for a very very late dinner, we were all starving. exchange our gift and we continue our talks at Indochine.

I was like, really anot? lol.

after that.....

we went crazy and "omg" non stop when we see the result. AMAZING!

i just apply ABIT of cuticle oil at the lower part of my nail, upper part.. needless to say, naturally shiny and glossy, ultra smooth too.

It cost SGD 90 for one set. comes with an amazing buffer block, cuticle oil and nail/body lotion. the buffer is the amazing thing, comes with 3 different part. have to use it accordingly.

it makes me wanna buff my nails everyday, though the shiny effect able to stay on for like 4-5 days.
